What are the delivery charges for orders from the online shop?

Shipping charges are flat rate:

Why we use a "Packaged On" date instead of EXP on our products.

Dear Customer, 

Thank you for your inquiry regarding our “Packaged On” or “Manufactured On” dates on The Golden Dose supplements. Placing an expiration date on a product is making a shelf life claim for that product. The FDA has regulations on how an expiration date, or claim, can be granted to a product. This process requires an extensive validation process which requires a great deal of time and investment. This same validation process must be followed any and each time a change is made to the formulation on a product. During the past we have updated our formulations to clear vegetarian capsules as well as hypoallergenic fillers, and in the future we will continue to reformulate as new research is performed and better ingredients are available. It is for these purposes we have avoided making any sort of expiration claim on any products for which we have not gone through the validation process. That being said, we feel very comfortable in using the “Packaged On” or “Manufactured On” dates as we have many safeguards in place to ensure product potency and compliancy with FDA regulations. The first step we take to ensure product potency is to have all of our raw materials tested for identity and for assay (potency) before it is put into the product. Secondly, we test all our finished supplements to be certain that they meet 100% of label claim once produced. The testing we perform is above and beyond what is required. To ensure that finished good potency is successful, we also include an overage of active ingredients during the manufacturing process to be sure that our clients are safely getting supplementation at or above the level they are paying for. In the near future we will be undergoing the process of qualifying some of our products for expiration dating, at that time we will be placing expiration dates on those products. We appreciate your feedback and your question and want to give you this information to ensure you feel very comfortable with our high-quality supplements. How long will delivery take?

Your order will ship from our facility within one to two business days. Shipping time varies by shipping method and location. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation and associated tracking number. Note: Holidays may delay the shipment.

Why is it recommended that the Probiotics be shipped overnight?

Most probiotic strains are sensitive to temperature and must be refrigerated to ensure product quality, therefore we recommend overnight shipping. Each probiotic order is shipped with an ice pack in an insulated envelope to ensure product quality.

How do I get free ground shipping?

Free ground shipping applies to orders over $150 (subtotal), within the continental United States (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, US Minor Outlying Islands, and US Virgin Islands). 

I paid for USPS Priority mail, but haven't received my order yet. Why is it taking so long?

USPS Priority mail is not considered an expedited shipping method. USPS says 1-3 business days, but it is not guaranteed and can take up to two weeks. Also, USPS only picks up from our facility once a day, so orders being fulfilled one day won't be picked up until the next business day. If an expedited shipping method is needed, we recommend USPS overnight.

Are your products gluten-free?

Our products are gluten-free, but the facility they are manufactured in is not gluten-free.
